Dr Hilary Boucaut has practiced Paediatric Urology since 1988 when she returned from completing her post-graduate training in Reconstructive Urology. Since then Dr Boucaut has worked at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in the Department of Paediatric Urology-Surgery as a Consultant Surgeon.In addition to her public hospital commitments she consults at Paediatrics SA in the Memorial Hospital Consulting Suites and operates at Memorial Hospital. As well as her clinical practice Dr Hilary Boucaut is Head of the Department of Paediatric Surgery and Urology at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and is the South Australian representative on the Board of Paediatric Surgery which acts on behalf of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons to co-ordinate the training of Paediatric Surgeons in Australia and New Zealand.
Dr Hilary Boucaut’s particular clinical interests are in Reconstructive Urology, Neurogenic bladder management, urinary incontinence and antenatal counselling for management of abnormalities of the urinary tract detected during pregnancy in addition to the diagnosis and management of general paediatric urological conditions.
Dr Hilary Boucaut is a member of the Australian New Zealand Association of Paediatric Surgeons, Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand and British Association of Urological Surgeons and regularly attends conferences in urology and paediatric surgery both in Australia and overseas as an active participant.Dr Hilary Boucaut manages all paediatric urological conditions and provides transitional care service for young adults with complex congenital paediatric urological conditions.
